company moving my department and cutting pay

I work for a large cell service provider and have for going on two years. Through this time, they've switched my department several times, and are now doing so again. This time however, I was just informed that this mandatory department change will come with a reduction in pay, so my hourly will be reduced by 50 cents. I'm very conflicted with how I want to handle this. On one hand, I hear the dept I'm going to is less stressful than the one I'm currently in, so that'd nice, but the fact that I'm still being transferred through no choice of my own and being forced to take a pay cut with it just seems like a slL in the face, especially when I know my sister Re all exactly where they should be, I'm actually in the upper echelon when it comes to performance. I do need to get into college anyways so I'm considering quitting (or making them fife me to hopefully get unemployment) and getting a Parr time job. So I can attend. Ollege, but I sl feel like I might end up regretting quitting this job later on. Any opinions? Am I overreacting here or should I tell them to eat me and get in school instead?
