We should all reject promotions.

I am 39. (I'm UK based, I put this because every American assumes every post on this sub is from an American) Worked all my life in office jobs. I had a situation where I was essentially promoted to a “Team Leader” role because no one else was available. I hated it. I went to one Managers Meeting and the next day told my boss I didn't want to do it. It's so shit, I had a modicum of power and hated it. If we all turned down “promotions” maybe people could just turn up to work and do their jobs. Work is shit. Live life by having fun, telling jokes, having sex, walking, reading, drinking and doing ONLY what you need to do to get money. X
