My GF has been made to stay past 8 hours at her job and we were wondering if the time and a half provision also applies to small business as well? There are only 2 employees. I was able to find proof that businesses do have to pay extra when your time worked exceeds 8 hours in a day, but I know that there is often bullshit exceptions for small businesses so we wanted to check if there was one for this issue?
