I called out sick today because I’m genuinely not feeling well and told my boss I want to use 8 of my sick hours for today. He told me I must provide a doctors note. What he requested was totally understandable but last month, I asked to use my sick hours and even provided a doctor’s note but he didn’t pay me for them. No benefits to this job and just two days ago, I was asked to sell chocolates for his daughter’s private school. How nice.
