I recently had to switch my start time to 9 instead of 8:30 at my job because I can my hours at 35 hours and was working about 37. I also have excruciating back pain and sleep problems, so I thought the 30 minutes might help me out. Well…. i got into an argument with my boss about whether or not I'm needed for an extra 30 minutes, and after explaining to her that I am constantly faced with about 30 minutes of free time a day, explaining my back problems, explaining my belief of not working over 35 hours a week, she sent what's in the title to end the conversation. My response was,
“That's nuts but if it makes you happy I'm glad.”
I'm sorry but what the fuck is wrong with these people? Do they actually expect every employee to donate their life for a job that pays two dollars above minimum?
