He's coming back this afternoon.
I work for Price Chopper. Our zone director has butchered our payroll because he “doesn't like to spend money”, stopped all raises, and increased the truck sizes a few months after he took over about a year ago. Our hours are cut so bad, that a lot of the stores have just the department managers working alone almost all day. Part timers are practically non existent. The company made, I think, about $6-7 billion in profit in 2021. The “no hours” talk is all bullshit.
He was in the store this morning for about 2 hours ripping some people apart about nothing being even halfway done. I manage the dairy department and doing it alone is miserable. My hours for help have been taken away. He left part way through his walk and will be back later.
How fucking out of touch can corporate be? They can see there's no staff in the stores anymore, increase the workload, and seriously can't figure out why nothing's getting done?
If he stops by the dairy cooler, I want to absolutely lay into him, but obviously by being careful. What should be said?
I'm trying to get my coworkers riled up, but a lot of them are right wing bootlickers. Although, they do look exhausted and like they're about to snap.
