I've tried my hardest, and I'm still trying, to really want to work but every time I see opportunity to work for an employer something's really holding me back. It seems that I can't fathom the fact that I am “submitting” myself to an employer for that matter that it feels like I cannot swallow the fact that I am, when employed, bound to conform to the rules and virtually whatever the company or my employer wants me to do. Mere thought of that somehow manages to get my gut out of me through my mouth. In a way, it's literally unnerving to think of it, like perhaps getting sucked in a black hole with tenfold of the usual gravitational force.
I've been thinking of starting my own business and just working for myself, however unpredictable or uncertain that may be, as I am an INFJ based on Myers-Briggs Type Index and also a highly-sensitive person (HSP) that I yearn for greater freedom where I am not “stuck” within the bounds of “rules”.
For the good of me I don't even know how I managed to graduate college. I just can't fathom the idea of being told what to do in a workplace. It's weird.
