Friend’s wife was fired because she missed days of work due to her being pregnant and throwing up.

It’s in their policy that if you’re throwing up, you don’t come in to work since she works with kids. They fired her shortly after missing a few days. Where exactly can they report this. I know the labor board but under what? We live in California.
