I often find HR to be useless – I can count over a dozen instances of HR just saying some corporate BS that doesn’t really get to the root of systemic problems in their organizations.

Granted, it must be easy to work in HR, since I would imagine much of it is about paperwork and administrative tasks. But in terms of them actually impacting the growth and development of an organization, I would say their efforts are often as inspiring as a wet blanket. Also, if you complain to HR, you will probably be blamed for whatever is occurring.
