I was on indeed to look for a better paying job when I saw that my company has put out a listing for the position that I have.
There are multiple people at the company who have the same position as I do, but this listing has the same requirements and responsibilities as my current position, but lists the starting salary that is almost 40% higher than what I currently make.
For context, I have been with this company for almost two years and and only ever gotten a raise once and it was an increase of about 7%.
What can I do (if anything) to confront my boss about this?
