Look, in 2023, don't feel bad about quitting and leaving your coworkers in a lurch. I promise you if you were to be fired, those coworkers you care so much for will not care for you, and the few that do, the relationship will fizzle out and they wont speak to you 6 months down the line. It's how it is in corporate America these days. Once you put in your two weeks, you are now yesterday's paper. They wont worry for you. This happens whether you're in corporate america, for profit or even non-profits. And your workplace is not the exception. They are FRIENDLY while you work with them, but they are NOT YOUR FRIENDS.
