I recently started working on the repair sides of things for a railroad company. After a week of training, and half a week with hands on learning, yesterday I was called out of lunch and brought to HR. I was told several coworkers had mentioned me seeming “off” this morning and were concerned. No one had mentioned anything to me until this point so I was confused. I’m still learning where everything is and it was noted I spent more time than usual looking for a glove this morning. I was taken to a nearby medical facility to get urine tested and sent home. Nothing on my test that isn’t prescribed will show up and the only thing I can think of was I took a unisom the night before to sleep and was still a little groggy at 6am. I informed them about this as well, but until they get the lab results back I’m in limbo with whether or not I still have my job. They’ve already messed my pay up twice and can’t give me a consistent answer on what I should do next.
