Took one week of vacation time and job replaced me immediately

I have been with this company for five years. I have a lot of PTO and vacation built up. My car broke down and I ended up with no way of getting there. I used last week to get the car repaired and was told I could work remotely, which I did. Last Wednesday, he sent out an email asking his wife to post my job position on Indeed. I guess he doesn't think I read the outbox. By Friday, he had two people interviewed and there will be someone sitting at my desk today. He didn't tell me he was going to do any of this and I guess he didn't realize I would be seeing the emails of applicants (obviously).

My car has been fixed and I was about to go in to work today. There will be someone sitting at my desk.

I was petty about it and sent an email to the other co-workers (small office) saying it was nice working with them but I've been replaced and that my Starbucks coffee is in the bottom drawer if anyone wants it.

Companies will replace you in a heartbeat. You are disposable to them. There is no such thing as job security anywhere and loyalty means nothing.
