Found out my job was paying me less than I was offered.

I have spent the last 4 months working weekends at Bath and Body Works to make extra money for my family and finally walked out on it today. Technically, I put my notice in, but after further bullshit I won't be back! Firstly, I was told I would start at $14/hr for seasonal. I found out I've been making $13 this entire time. I can't find any paperwork for my side or anything so I'm SOL but oh well. The former assistant manager who also recently rage quit has confirmed with me that she specifically remembers filling out paperwork to start all seasonal at $14/hr, so I'm not crazy. Obviously the consumerism and sales pushing always bothered me but at the time my family needed extra income badly. We don't anymore.

So on my way out I told other associates what she's been saying about them behind their backs and someone backstabbed me so needless to say, I won't be finishing those two weeks. I'm not walking into a hostile environment for a shift that pays less than plasma donation.

I've always wanted to be able to set a toxic job on fire before leaving so I guess it's worth the 24 hours of intense anxiety.
