Would you rather have a boss that’s more experienced than you at your job, but a shitty leader, or a boss that has good leadership skills, but no experience in your job?

Obviously we'd all rather have both, and all too frequently end up with neither. But if you got to choose “experience” or “leadership” as the more important quality for your boss to have, which one would you pick? Why? What type of experience matters? “Leadership” is a pretty broad term; does the specific leadership style matter? Does your answer depend on the work or industry? Does it depend on the size of your team or company? By “boss”, I'm meaning the person you directly report to – the person who directs your work, and tells you what to do.
