I started a new job working at a school for the first time ever. Benefits-awesome. Coworkers-pretty cool. Students-meh Pay-I will get to that in a second.
So my job is to basically help kids with their learning when they don’t understand, help keep them on track, and just be there as a support for the teacher. I also do before school, lunch, and after school supervision. I’ve gained an incredible relationship with some of these kids and quite a few teachers though!
I started mid January and got one day of training. So far, I’ve had multiple encounters where substitutes have relied on me to teach classes.
I’ve had multiple students cuss me out when they were caught in areas they weren’t supposed to be.
However I only make 1200 a month! And I get paid once a month! I cannot afford this and I feel horrible about quitting this job simply just because I can’t afford anything with it.
Getting a 2nd job is just not a possible thing for me at the moment either due to going to school myself.
Do I stick with it or do I need to say goodbye?
