The overtime pressure in modern work culture is absurd

At my job I try to go after 8.5 hours – with waking up, commuting and the 30 Min break I am allready using around half the day (12 hours) for work – I am not going to invest a single second more. And people look at me as if I was crazy. Last month I had 10 hours of overtime – and a colleague was joking how little that was – he had 30. After going through the overtime list I found out that most people had like 20-30 every month – some had 50-60 and the record were 150 hours of overtime in a single month! If I cant do the job in 40 hours – that means you need less work or a second person – like hell I am going to work at 110% and make 30 hours of overtime each month just so that you…
