ghosted after receiving a job offer for mentioning medical card

Nailed my interviews and received the official job offer on a Friday. I said I'd give my official answer the following week but was leaning towards taking it. So Monday rolls around and I email the dept manager some followup questions about the job. I also mention that I have a medical card in case there's a drug test I have to take. Basically every job I've had as an adult you couldn't do high without risk of a bad time (death), so that to me suggests that I'm clearly not doing that. I got an email back that the dept manager got my email and was catching up on some stuff but would be getting back to me by the end of the day. That was like 10 days ago. As marijuana medical or otherwise is becoming legal, why have some companies maintained zero tolerance policies? It's known to stay in your system for a month after use while all of the truly bad shit is gone in a few hours to a couple days. It just seems dumb.

Not going anywhere with that. Just wanted to vent.
