I had the worst shift ever (for me)

I'm autistic. I work in people's homes. I got called in for a call out today. Never been there before. I can't do smokers I can't do dogs This guy smokes in his house. Cigars. Pipes. Whatever. Not the good smelling ones either. The vile stanking ones. I was exceedingly polite and made small talk while I cleaned. But omg I could hardly breathe. I did everything he needed but my god I thought I was going to pass out. I had to keep making excuses to go outside. Just to breathe. I started self harming to distract my self by digging my finger nails in my clavacle but it wasn't helping. He must have picked up on my discomfort even though I was trying not to show it. I'm autistic.

I work in people's homes. I got called in for a call out today. Never been there before.

I can't do smokers

I can't do dogs

This guy smokes in his house. Cigars. Pipes.

I tryed to be so polite. He sent me home early and I'll probably get in trouble but omg.

I came home took off all my clothes put them in a Walmart bag tied it up and took a shower and washed my hair.

I got a beer (I never drink) in the way home and I'm going to drink it a try to forget.

Now I know not to take assignments without asking if they smoke.

BTW it's on my file that I don't go to smokers or dogs but they have sent me anyways to dog homes five times before I blew up and told them I'd quit if they didn't stop. (I was attacked by a dog as a child)
