Why isn’t there a mass exodus of Americans to Europe in search of better working conditions?

It seems like it would be better to be homeless in Europe than live paycheck to paycheck in America. Why aren’t more people moving? Is it just the logistics of moving so far away? Hesitancy to leave family and familiar surroundings? Hardly anyone I’ve talked to in real life has any desire to leave America. It feels like I’m the only one.
