*Two days, sorry for the typo I was completely infuriated when I originally typed this, and still am. I'm just sick of how these management types keep stepping over employees.
My boss recently delayed our paychecks by 1 week because he wanted to switch processors/banks without really thinking about the employees at all. This came out of nowhere without any warning whatsoever, and me and my daughter require our phones to get in touch with family and more importantly, each other., and I need it for work as well as since it is a requirement. In fact, we use it to call family or friends for help or to pick us up (no landline just smartphone).
The phone bill is $60 and I asked him if he could do an advance on my paycheck and he refused.
I am not sure how asking for help is looked at here, but if anyone can help cover the phone bill I can quit this job for another one and I'll be glad to upload the video of me screaming it into his face. This is simply uncalled for and is the worse thing he has done yet.
He constantly insults us and cuts our hours while treating us like dirt, he's one of those “pull yourself by your bootstrap” guys while he gives us less money as he belittles us for not having much. I can't be without my phone, nor can my daughter with hers since she needs to communicate with me and others as well, and is often at school and daycare. If she has no phone and I have no phone that creates a problem.
