At my company, they implemented a plan where we can choose one day of the week to work from home. I commute 90 minutes each day, and so does the rest of my section (SGV area to Newport Beach).
The job used to be fully remote during the early years of the pandemic, but that got lifted and the one day of WFH was only implemented the previous month of this year.
I am losing a lot of savings because of my commute and constant need to refill my car. I think WFH should be an option or at least 1 day at the office only, 4 days remote. Which is honestly the very least that can be done.
