I'll keep this short and sweet. I hate my current job, I mean absolutely hate it and I need to quit asap. Here's where I need advice.
1. I didn't sign anything, I mean no contract was ever given to me to sign. I only filled out some information for my taxes and where my paycheck would go, that's it.
2. I technically have a 'mandate contract' – I get paid hourly.
3. I dont have anything at home from that job- nothing they have given me that I have to return.
All that means I should be able to quit rn, on the spot, right?
Well, no.
My boss is on vacation rn. When I called to discuss all the matters that make me want to quit, I was told that I'm 'wasting their time' and 'we will discuss this when I come back from vacation, so don't bother me'.
I have to get to work in about 3 hours. I can't make myself do it, I literally threw up thinking about having to go there.
Are there any repercussions and/or punishments I will receive if I just text my boss 'I'm quitting' rn and block them?
