Hello r/antiwork. My place of employment changed the pay scale a couple different times in the last several years. I ran the numbers and with exact same progression and yearly (percentage based) raises, I should be making $1.60/hour more than I am. It may not be much but I feel like deserve it, considering I've been with the company for several years and am currently only making $.38/hour more than the minimum for my position after 3 years of annual raises and promotions.
I'm in the process of writing up an email to my HR rep about my concerns with all the math and numbers (double and triple checked), and would love to know if anyone has any tips or advice about how to approach things
