I love to work, I just don’t want to work for a wage

The effort, the achievement, the meaning. These are things I love. Yesterday I helped my mother to build shelves and then move lots of her stuff. I had to think about how to build the shelf, then I had to carry heavy stuffs, and in the end I felt useful. Today is saturday, so I don't have to wageslave. I earn a living with programming. Yet again, today I spent 4 hours programming my video game and I had so much pleasure from it. It was hard, but I am happy to see my game evolves and I hope someday people will have fun playing it. I love to play music instruments, to go running, to help my family with their projects. I love to write about personal development, society, fictions. I love to read science books which are hard to grasp but give a better understanding of the world…

I love to work. I just want to work on things meaningful to me. Unfortunately it seems that what is meaningful to me is not what is meaningful to the workplace.
