So I work at a factory and I work 2nd shift (2:30-11) and my work is having a mandatory training for all shifts at 10am on Thursday. It’s going to be a 2 hour training period and we get to clock in for it but we have to clock out right after it ends which leaves 2 and a half hours until my shift starts. It’s not overtime because they are making us cut 2 hours in the week to make up for it. I’m mad because I have a 30 minute drive to work and I have to use my gas to get to and from work 2 times that day. I also lose an hour of time driving and I have to get up 3 hours earlier than usual.
The training is for this stupid app that no one likes because it makes everything so much harder and more confusing. The training is during first shifts shift so they don’t have to leave and come back they just get a 2 hour break while 2nd and 3rd shift have to come in on their time off. It’s so dumb.
