tl/dr at bottom
In January, I applied for this job at a hospital doing entry-level IT grunt work. It paid decently, and they had good reviews about career paths.
I got an interview, which I still feel like I did really well on. My big questions about the company were about their career path benefit.
We finished the interview with, “We'll let you know one way or another by next week.”
That didn't happen, and I couldn't follow up. Fast Forward, 1.5 months I finally hear back. I didn't get the job. Big surprise there. Wrote it off after their own time frame passed.
But what I did get was their recruiting email address. That was monitored. So, I sent them feedback about their process and mentioned that they shouldn't offer career advancement if they didn't want people to use it. I figured that was the only reason I didn't get the job since I aced their technical questions, and my required starting rate was lower than their average starting rate for that role. The rest of the feedback was professional, but very anti-work motivated. It slammed.
What would we call that in modern genz Quiet Quitting terminology? I can't think of a good one.
Can we make it a trend?
TL;DR-
Land interview, promised a follow-up date, didn't hear back for 4 months so I sent the company a professionally aggressive interview feedback. I want a good name for that and hope to start a trend.
