Respectful way to ask to be transferred ?

The company I work for has a 4 shift rotation(d/d/n/n). 4 months ago, I’ve switched job roles within the shift for more money, but the shift supervisor was very upset with me, his reasoning was “I should have discussed with him before accepting the new job position”… I didn’t discuss it with him because I didn’t think it was any of his business, if anything he would have just made it so I didn’t get the job. He now keeps a close eye on me and it feels like he is making my life harder, I don’t know this for sure (other than the fact he went to HR about me) . Its mentally draining and I already have anxiety/stress issues so this has really been bothering me. I’m not ready to quit yet (soon) what would be a respectful way to ask to change shifts without making it seem…
