I found a new job after three months of looking and they don’t give lunch breaks or .. any breaks

It's my first week and so far: -it's easily the most physically demanding and honestly painful job I've ever worked. And I've worked in all kinds of jobs, food delivery, farm work, landscaping, bussing, even set-up. So I'm not exactly Simone Biles or Xena, but I'm not a stranger to hard work. -although the handbook says employees should take breaks, they schedule you so that you are almost always driving or working. Whoopsie! My co workers say this is normal and just don't eat usually. my interviewer told me I'd be working in cities no more then 40 minutes away but they have scheduled me to work over an hour away every day I've worked. -it's easily the most physically demanding and honestly painful job I've ever worked.

  • my interviewer told me I'd be working in cities no more then 40 minutes away but they have scheduled me to work over an hour away every day I've worked. My day is up to 3/4 hours of driving a day. ;_; (Even more then when I did food delivery)

-the pay advertised is only for working hours, driving hours doesn't count! They can only reimburse you for gas.

-having to use the bathroom/get gas/get lost at all comes out of your work time.

All I can think is that I must look like a complete weenie to them. I seriously don't know how these people do it. They must have steel for muscles.

I didn't think of myself as a softie who couldn't handle hard work, or a quitter, and I did want full time work, but honestly, I've never wanted to be determined too sub-par for the job and fired so badly in my entire life. Just wanted to get this out there. Man.
