Am I the only one who thinks the latest job reports have been fake?

Something doesn't ad up, my company had massive layoffs, everywhere around me is having layoffs, the tech sector is being plundered…yet a magical 300,000 jobs pooped out of Beaviss bunghole? Something is missing and I can't find the TP.
