So I have this coworker, let’s call her Gwen. Gwen likes to show off at meetings by engaging “the team”, but only in front of our president. She tries to make it appear as though she has concerns and will often ask coworkers to pitch in and help, but it’s only in meetings in front of our president. This week she asked for my help by sending her a email that she can copy and paste, that explains what my division of the company does and what we have to offer. I reluctantly did it, then in our company meeting she blurts out that what I sent isn’t what she was looking for. She can’t provide any specifics, just gives a general idea. I believe this isn’t something she actually needs, but is rather a manipulative stunt to make her appear a better employee. Anybody else in a situation like this?
