I started a job 10 weeks ago in an industry which I studied for. I was excited but there were many red flags which I ignored, one of them being that my interviewer was one hour late to my interview and they didn't even ask me any interview questions. I took a pay cut to work this job and got fired last week.
I don't think my boss liked me personally, I wasn't being trained like the others, she would always cancel my upcoming training that was in my calendar without reason.
I started asking questions when the new employee who was hired 2 weeks after me was getting trained , and I wasn't.
My boss was ignoring my emails and messages, I ended up confronting her, which she then responded by firing me.
In the email she wrote that she didn't send me off for training because she knew I would fail. She also wrote that I took ages to learn, although they weren't training me. So they basically hired me and didn't give me a chance to learn. I left a high paying job which was also work from home for this shit show which honestly was a waste of time.
Feeling happy that I'm able to find a better job now but pissed because they weren't actually training me. Not only that but they had me working 9 days straight without a break and my boss constantly bullied me making comments about my makeup and looking tired.
