Under paid and over worked

I am a personal care assistant for my best friend and currently switching companies for higher pay. My current company pays 13$/hr for full care of a quadriplegic such as cooking and cleaning and bathing and such. Basically a big baby. When I told the company that I was switching for better pay they claimed that they could match and they would lose 10k yearly by having us leave. They also informed me that my pay should have been 15$/hr at least for the last two months. I asked about back pay and they said they could do it. They also requested we stay but I’m very much over their antics of shuffling people around and making me sign to various apps and then switch to new ones every few months. I feel like I’m going to be switching and missing out on some gain from not getting the back pay. They also already rolled out their w2s which would mean that mine is incorrect since they aren’t posting what my pay should actually be and shorted me on my last few months. I feel distressed
