Missing pay

My employer hasn’t paid me a little bit over 80 hours for the past 3 months and cut my commission check by 2/3 of what I was owed. They were one of the companies impacted by Kronos outage. I’ve been trying to straighten this out since the beginning of February when those checks were showing an issue. They had me call the company that handles our hr related questions, and they stated they wouldn’t help me as the whole company has been impacted by this and I wasn’t the only person with my paycheck shortened. I spoke with my manager and asked if they could escalate this as it was impacting how I pay bills. They used all their avenues to try and have this resolved. It finally was escalated to our HR rep and she stated it would be corrected 2 pay cycles away. I waited for the pay…

They were one of the companies impacted by Kronos outage. I’ve been trying to straighten this out since the beginning of February when those checks were showing an issue. They had me call the company that handles our hr related questions, and they stated they wouldn’t help me as the whole company has been impacted by this and I wasn’t the only person with my paycheck shortened.

I spoke with my manager and asked if they could escalate this as it was impacting how I pay bills. They used all their avenues to try and have this resolved. It finally was escalated to our HR rep and she stated it would be corrected 2 pay cycles away. I waited for the pay cycles and there was no reconciliation.

I started asking multiple people for help with my pay, including our HR rep, my manager, and my manager’s manager. They had me compile all the times that I hadn’t been paid, only to tell me they see there is an issue and reach out the HR call center again as they’d not be able to help me.

What’s annoying is it doesn’t seem like anyone has even been looking into the issue. When I’ve expressed my frustration I’ve been told “if you feel that strongly, maybe you shouldn’t work for this company” or “I’m not sure how you’re going to pay your rent, I don’t have an answer.”

I reached out again to the HR call center and they stated my manager was to blame for me not getting paid correctly because he “may of not known how to escalate the pay”. Which just seems like a way to pass the buck. They’re now escalating my pay and I’ll hear back in 3 days.

However, it doesn’t seem like this is legal to not pay me for hours worked because of the Kronos outage. Is there somewhere I can place a complaint about my company? I’ve felt so helpless during this.
