Genuine question: how do I get started in a new career with zero experience?
I am unhappy and burnt out in my current position and want nothing more than to pursue careers in several passions that I have. The only issue is that every single job posting is either an internship for current college students or entry level jobs with x amount of experience required.
I simply don’t understand the logic behind shunning people from working when there is a so called “labor shortage.” I want to find a new path and do something that I enjoy, even if it comes at a pay cut but it feels like there is nothing but gatekeeping in every direction I look.
Do any of you have experience or knowledge pertaining to how to get past this? I feel nothing but frustration and hopelessness.
