TLDR: I injured my foot and had to take a month off. I updated my managers twice on when I’d be back. They said okay, on those occasions but now I’m ready and they took me off schedule. I asked them why I’m off and they haven’t responded. I was supposed to work tomorrow but still have no response and I am ready to work after a month of being off I am desperate at this point what do I do ?
I 19F work at a restaurant and injured my foot very badly. I have a doctors appt booked in a week per my managers request but it’s pretty useless since it’s healed already.
I even came in limping one shift two weeks in my injury to try to see if I can work and I couldn’t my foot was getting worse while working so I requested two more weeks off, which my managers said okay to
I also texted them before this schedule was made to ensure that I was ready to work this week since healed (after a month total) and they responded with okay too
Well schedule came out and I’m off when I already notified them twice that I’d be ready by then
When I asked why I’m off?
One manager said I requested for it
I told them They might’ve misunderstood but I’ve been ready and they have yet to responsd. At this point it’s the fifth week without work theres no reason why the schedule should be messed up and now I’ve been waiting for five days to see whether she ll allow me to work or not how do I handle this
