Got into a verbal altercation with manager. I finally snapped after months of being harassed and now I’m suspended from work “pending investigation”

I’ve been getting harassed by my manager for the past 2 months now at Safeway. We got into a verbal altercation and my GM wants me to write a statement on the situation. For the statement do I fill out exactly what happened THAT day or what’s been going on the past 2 months?
