I work in a call center where employees are primarily divided into three groups (A, B, C for ease of reference). For the past three months we have been on open routing where all three groups take the same calls, however there is a significant training difference between the groups and some pay difference (B gets $0.30/hr more than A, C gets $0.30/hr more than B). All three groups are taking roughly 80% calls that should be handled by agents in group C.
Do I have any legal recourse through the department of labor or otherwise, or is this just common corporate manipulation and there's nothing I can do?
