I’m the District Manager of a fast food franchise. We had a corporate award ceremony. I worked my ass off this year to achieve record profits, customer satisfaction, intense training, and opened many locations. My boss is the vice president. He won “manager of the year” and immediately at the convention I was irate but held it in. I never spoke to this man for more than 9 months of the year working for them. He steps foot into one store for only an hour once every two weeks hardly interacting with anyone. How should I handle this?
TL;DR: My “boss” (position title only) won an award that should have been given to me.
