In the west US, is it worth trying to fight for a bad termination for a job you have only been at for 1-2 months?

I have little knowledge on this subject. I’m thinking that even if I win the case, I’ll be unemployed still and I’m thinking unemployment will pay me less than an actual job, which means I lose either way, making fighting the case not worth it. Or, am I wrong?
