8:23 is the ratio, in a month of 31 days, of days off to days working for our standard two days off and five freaking days slaving away. 8 to 23. This doesn't account for covering shifts when you're supposed to be off, coming in early/staying late, or overtime. At that point the ratio would be like 5:26.
Just think about that. Only 8 days off out of 31. No mandated PTO or sick pay either.
