Mandatory Personality Test

My work today Mandated a three part test: IQ, work ethic, and personality. Questions such as “I am often angry” and “I am jealous of others” -strongly agree, somewhat agree, somewhat disagree, strongly disagree. Is this even legal? * in the US.
