I have 8 employees, I only started my position 4 years ago but some of them are coming up on 5 and 10 year anniversaries. I want to show them appreciation and recognition but I’m not sure what people would want. I asked around and was surprised to hear that cash was not what any of my employees wanted – it may also be problematic as we work in government so I can’t give out anything that can be seen as a bonus (everything is funded by taxpayer dollars). They will get extra vacation days as well. Thanks!
Edit: if it matters they are both women, one is about 29 and the other is in her mid fifties.
Either way, curious to know what everyone thinks
