Published in 1883 and shockingly relevant still. It is incredible to read how much of our situation is the same as it was back then, or even worse. He discussed the mechanization of labor, and how it could have been used to reduce the need for hard work, but instead simply lowers the value of our work. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. This should be required reading for this sub.
