Is it just me or does death just seem like a “better” option than what society wants from us. Having to work 40 hour weeks, getting stuck in student debt and praying whatever job you can get with that degree is a job you'll have for a while. Not to mention there are layoffs that can just happen at any given time that's out of you're control. You can't control raises even if you're performing well companies will just come up with some bullshit on why they shouldn't give you a raise. Or promise you one but don't give one to you. Or that housing/renting has gotten out of control that even having multiple roommates to help split the bill is getting tough. Depending on where you live you may need more than 2-3 people just to get a room. It just feels like each day we are fighting a never ending climb and it's getting exhausting. I know I've ranted about this before or in a similar manner, but man each day that I wake up and see on the news that it's just getting harder to get a place to live is mentally exhausting. It's like what's the point of doing all this for? Even if we have jobs and are living at home because we can't afford anything we are still seen as people that “live in their mommy's basement”. It's like no shit sherlock most of us want to move out WE CANT AFFORD IT! Oh well “get a better job then”. Want to pay for me to go to school? Yeah I didn't think so.
