i (26f) have been basically bedridden for a week with a nasty sinus infection, now including conjunctivitis in both of my eyes. i’m still very i’ll and obviously can’t manage work, both with the way i feel and with how contagious i am.
so what happens now? i live paycheck to paycheck and being out for a week messes everything up. i can’t afford rent now. heck i only have enough to cover half of it and it’s due in a matter of days.
so i’m genuinely curious (and mostly venting at this point). what do you do when your body says no but the world keeps on moving? not only can i not afford rent, but i’m at the point where i can barely afford medication to get better so i can go back to work.
just at a loss and don’t know what to do. would appreciate some advice or even personal stories so i don’t feel so alone and frustrated.
