25y, steam degree in the best university in my area, extra courses abroad, worked since I was 18, reached a full time position as supervisor in a large company, indetermined contract. I quit after some years because in the last period the company was not respecting the contract and the new working conditions were absolutely unacceptable.
I spent several months looking for a job and I'm devastated. More than 80% of the companies don't even answer me, the others refused me even when I meet all their requirements and have an excellent interview. I asked them why they didn't hire me and got ghosted. The only job that I got is heavily underpaid and I'm looking around before being obligated to accepted it due to economic reasons.
What I'm missing? I searched for jobs when I was younger and it was quite easy despite I didn't have the degree and the experience at the time, is the situation so worse now?
Any advice about where to look or apply?
