should i come to my work?

So about three weeks ago my employer rolled out the work schedule for next week. I stupidly forgot to fill out my availability and as a result, he planned me in on a saturday and a monday, days on which I usually never work but whatever. I immediately texted him saying I cannot work both of these days and that i forgot to fill out my availability. To this he responds that I have to find someone to substitute for me. So I tried doing this. For the monday I got a substitute. It is now three weeks later and I still haven't found a substitute for me. So I asked whether I could work on friday (because they are understaffed that day as well) instead of on saturday. Employer says no, because they need me more on saturday. all right. Now I'm left with the option of still going…

I immediately texted him saying I cannot work both of these days and that i forgot to fill out my availability. To this he responds that I have to find someone to substitute for me. So I tried doing this. For the monday I got a substitute.

It is now three weeks later and I still haven't found a substitute for me. So I asked whether I could work on friday (because they are understaffed that day as well) instead of on saturday. Employer says no, because they need me more on saturday. all right.

Now I'm left with the option of still going to work, keeping my employer satisfied, but missing the football game I have. The other option would be to tell him I won't come even though they don't 'allow' that.

what should I do?
