hi everyone. roughly a year ago i made a psuedo-vent post about how having to work despite being disabled left me unable to take care of myself and in need of professional care. now like all of you, i think the labor we do in todays world is vapid and destructive, but i still believe there is fulfilling work to be done in the name of a better world.
im telling you all of this because i finished that post with a promise, that when i could stand on my own two feet again, i would pay back my debts and start taking what little action i could to fight against the way we labor.
so my question is: how?
over the past few months ive been spending every second i have teaching myself to code, i think spreading the knowledge of basic automation could give people the agency to survive without having to be exploited. its the strength i play best to. but thats just my single take on a massive issue. i want to hear other peoples ideas, criticisms, discussions. what other theories are there? are there collectives to join? if not, would you join one that i built?
this is really just a post i made to hear some discussion. id love to hear different perspectives on this.
