The job title was reach truck operator, they had 10 people in my orientation that were hired for the same thing, and I literally have seen 3 reach trucks, 3 forklifts, and 2 center riders in the entire building. And numerous people who have been there for half a year have been on the reach once the entire time. It’s always the same damned group of people driving them. After 3 days, we’ve only gotten to do the written test and not had any actual reach training. Half of us have been doing receiving and the other half doing putaways with pallet jacks instead of equipment, I shit you not. It’s no wonder 5 of the 10 people in our orientation have quit already. I’m kinda stuck though, because I went a little while without work and need to get my funds back in order. Here’s hoping I can find something else better soon.
